Your label will make your food product distinct from its competitors and a good label design conforming to regulatory requirements will save costs in future compliance costs and give your product an edge in the market place. The Nutrition Facts label development is supported by the Food Science and Nutrition Departments at MSU. The label involves product identification and Nutrition Facts. Staff at the Product Center can assist you with both aspects but focus primarily on the Nutrition Facts component. The Nutrition Facts label generated will be in compliance with FDA regulations and complements the initial requirements of MDA.
